Emma: Nine-Year Old Classical Pianist
Welcome to Emma Taggart's website. Emma is a talented nine year old classically trained pianist and a student of Dr. Reid Smith. Emma has performed around the world, and won numerous awards. She has been featured in numerous newpaper articles as well as the "Golden Apple Segment" on PBS. Please be sure to check out Emma's videos as well as the program she is currently working on and will be performing this summer in various solo recitals, including a performance in Granada, Spain.

Emma takes 2nd place at the 2011 MN State Fair Talent Show!
On Sunday, Sept. 4, 2011, Emma performed for over 7000 peoplease as she competed in the pre-teen division of the MN State Fair. Her exuberant, fast-paced and BLINDFOLDED performance of Chopin's Etude in F Minor, Op 25 No. 2 won her 2nd place.
